History

Most 1992 80s came standard with 2.0-litre four-cylinder, 2.3-litre five-cylinder, and 2.8-litre six-cylinder engines, as well as the more expensive 'Quattro' four-wheel-drive system.

Improvements were made to both the bottom and top of the line-up in 1993. The 2.2-liter turbocharged FWD S2 Estate made its debut in January, while a 100bhp 1.6-liter engine was made accessible in both body styles in the autumn. In March 1995, the Audi A4 took the place of the lineup.
