Honda Accord in Nigeria
The Honda Accord is a series of automobiles produced by Honda since 1976. It is best known for its four-door sedan variant which has been one of the best-selling cars in the United States since 1989. Also, the nameplate has been applied to a variety of vehicles including coupes, station wagons, hatchbacks, and a Honda Crosstour crossover.
Since its initiation, it has offered different car body styles and versions. It debuted in 1976 as a compact hatchback, although this style only lasted through 1989. This is because the lineup was expanded to include a coupe, sedan, and wagon.
In 1982, it became the first car to be produced in the United States by a Japanese manufacturer when production began in Marysville, Ohio. Similarly, in 1989, this model was the first vehicle sold under an import brand to become the best-selling automobile in the United States.

2008 Honda Accord Review
This model is available in sedan and coupe body styles. The sedan comes in LX, LX-P, EX, and EX-L trims while the coupe is available in LX-S, EX, and EX-L trims.
The vehicle comes with an option of powerful and fuel-efficient engines. The LX and LX-P trims come with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that generates 177 horsepower and 161 pound-ft of torque. On the EX sedans and all coupes is an upgraded version of that 2.4-liter engine that produces 190 horsepower.
A five-speed manual is standard with the four-cylinder engines, while optional is a five-speed automatic. On the EX trim levels, there is a 3.5-liter V6 that generates 268 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, a five-speed automatic is standard with this engine, though the V6 coupe is available with a six-speed manual.
It maintains the car's traditional combination of both comfort and sporty handling. Its handling is very good combined with excellent steering that provides a super combination of just-right feel and weight.
2018 Honda Accord Review
The 2018 model is sold in five trim levels which include the LX, EX, EX-L, Sport, and Touring trim. The LX is loaded with features such as dual-zone climate control and advanced safety features. The Sport trim comes with some visual upgrades and Android Auto or Apple CarPlay compatibility.
The EX trim adds heated front seats and a sunroof among its upgrades. Similarly, the EX-L trim features leather upholstery while the Touring trim has every feature available on other trims together with adaptive dampers for a cushier ride.
The Touring trim equips the vehicle with chrome exterior trim, 19-inch wheels, illuminated door handles, automatic wipers, front and rear parking sensors. It also possesses adjustable driving modes, a head-up display, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and a navigation system.
Furthermore, the models with the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine are the same as their 1.5-liter counterparts. The interior of this vehicle offers quality materials, lots of room, a modern design, a user-friendly infotainment system, and a control layout.
This infotainment system is crisp, clean, and user-friendly. Also, thanks to the physical buttons, basic functions are easy to navigate. Most controls are easily recognized and found. If you want to sit higher, closer, or more upright, there is plenty of adjustabilities.
The interior feels so large and this makes good sense because, by EPA interior volume measurements, it is a full-size car. However, for long-legged drivers, the driver's knee room may feel cramped. The rear legroom is excellent.
Similarly, forward visibility is excellent, and well-placed rear windows mean there is a good rear three-quarter view. The car’s interior design is modern and upscale. The touchpoints are covered in soft-touch materials and the fit tolerances are tight.
