Jeep Liberty in Nigeria

The Liberty was first released in 2002, and it was entirely remodeled for the 2008 model year. This is a tiny SUV with a unibody design that seeks to combine car-like driving manners with Jeep's go-anywhere capability. Only a 3.7-liter V-6 engine with 210 horsepower, paired to a four-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission, is available in the new Liberty. The Liberty comes standard with rear-wheel drive, but two all-wheel-drive systems are available: Command-Trac, which is a part-time, shift-on-the-fly system, and Selec-Trac II, which is a full-time system. Both all-wheel-drive systems come standard with hill descent control, and hill start aid is included on all Libertys.

Trim Levels of the Jeep Liberty

The Sport is the entry-level Liberty, which starts at a reasonable price in two-wheel-drive form and rises a few thousand nairas in all-wheel-drive form. Curtain airbags, 16-inch aluminum wheels, fold-flat, reclining second-row seats, air conditioning, power windows, and an AM/FM/CD audio with four speakers are all standard features.

The Limited variant comes standard with a two-wheel drive and adds a premium option for a four-wheel drive. This package adds a fold-flat passenger seat, a classier seat fabric, a power driver seat, an eight-speaker Infinity audio system, cruise control, 17-inch aluminum wheels, Sirius satellite radio, and heated power-folding exterior mirrors to the four-speed automatic transmission.

Optional Equipment in the Jeep Liberty

There are a variety of packages and stand-alone alternatives available for the Sport. The Sky Slider roof, an automatic transmission, and a motorized sunroof. The latter is ideal if you want a similar atmosphere to that of a convertible, but it comes with a lot of wind noise. Sway control is part of the Trailer Tow Group. Jeep offers a more advanced all-wheel-drive system than the Command-Trac II conventional part-time, shift-on-the-fly design. This active, on-demand system is known as Selec-Trac II. Fog lamps, cruise control, deep-tinted glass, a fold-flat front-passenger seat, and a cargo-compartment cover are included in the Premium Sound Group, while fog lamps, cruise control, deep-tinted glass, a fold-flat front-passenger seat, and a cargo-compartment cover are included in the Popular Equipment Group.

There are a lot more possibilities on the Limited. The power sunroof, along with the full-length canvas roof, the Selec-Trac II all-wheel-drive system, and the Trailer Tow Group, are still available as stand-alone options on the Limited for a reasonable price. The MyGIG infotainment system comes with navigation and a 20-gigabyte hard drive for music and images, as well as Bluetooth phone connectivity and real-time traffic information via Sirius satellite radio. There are three different bundles to choose from. The Premium Sound Group is an audio production company based in New York City. Leather seating, heated front seats, auto on/off headlights, a power passenger seat, and remote start are included in the Premium Group I. Premium Group II is made up of Premium Group I and adds automatic climate control, 18-inch wheels and tires, and a rear backup alert system.
