Mitsubishi Motors Corporation is a Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer with its headquarters in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. In 2011, it was the sixth-largest Japanese automaker and the 19th-largest worldwide by production. Since October 2016, it has been partly owned by Nissan.

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, which is responsible for building commercial-grade trucks, buses, and heavy construction equipment, was formerly a part of this brand. However, it is now separate and owned by Daimler AG, a German automotive corporation.

2009 Galant Review

The 2009 Galant is a midsize sedan and is available in four trim levels. The trim levels are sport edition, ES, sport V6, and Ralliart. The Galant front-wheel drive comes with either a four-cylinder engine and a four-speed automatic transmission or a V6 engine with a five-speed automatic.

The Galant model features standard six airbags and anti-lock brakes. Also, traction control is available on Sport and Ralliart models. However, electronic stability control is not available, which might be a disappointment. The base ES comes with a 16-inch steel wheel, a tilt steering wheel, cruise control, an air conditioner, and a sound system with a CD/MP3 player.

Similarly, the sport edition possesses heated side mirrors, automatic climate control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated front seats, a sunroof, and many more. The Sport V6 has almost the same features as the other but it has a V6 engine, an upgraded Rockford Fosgate audio system, and satellite radio.

2014 Outlander Review

The 2014 outlander possesses a standard 166-horsepower four-cylinder engine which delivers sufficient acceleration. It also comes with a continuously variable automatic transmission, which groans under tough acceleration.

It is a six-speed automatic transmission. It has a V6 engine present on it which increases output to 224 horsepower. However, it does not feel as strong as six-cylinder-powered rivals do.

The Outlander offers a pleasant ride but lacks the cornering finesse that can be found in other compact SUVs. It has a front-wheel drive which comes very standard and it is fuel-efficient for a 3-row SUV.

Even though the front seats are firm, they are still supportive. In the second-row seats, there is ample space while the third row is tight, but is tolerable.
