Pontiac solstice

The Pontiac Solstice is a sports vehicle produced by Pontiac. The roadster version of the Pontiac Solstice was unveiled at the 2004 North American International Auto Show and began manufacturing in Wilmington, Delaware, in mid-2005 for the 2006 model year. It's powered by a 2.4 L naturally aspirated I4 engine that produces 177 horsepower (132 kW) and 166 lb-ft (225 N⋅m).

The base model is powered by a 2.4 L naturally-aspirated I4 engine that produces 177 horsepower (132 kW) and 166 lb-ft (225 N⋅m). The Solstice appears to be identical to the 2002 Solstice design prototype before summer 2005. Manufacturing of the Solstice was supposed to begin in the spring of 2005, but delays at the Wilmington plant delayed volume production until the fourth quarter.

The Solstice's hardtop Targa top was introduced in the middle of 2008. The GM Kappa platform is used by the Saturn Sky, Opel GT, and Daewoo G2X, among other vehicles. It was Pontiac's first two-seater since the Fiero was discontinued in 1988.
