2014 Chevrolet Camaro Review
The 2014 model is available in a four-seat coupe and convertible body style. There are eight trim levels available and they are the V6-powered 1LS/2LS and 1LT/2LT, the V8-powered 1SS/2SS, and high-performance ZL1. The top of the range is the ultra-performance Z/28.
The 1LS/2LS and Z/28 models are available just as a hardtop coupe. All other models are available either as a coupe or convertible.
The Z/28 model comes with a more powerful V8 engine, special lightweight 19-inch wheels, performance tires, and carbon-ceramic brakes.
Also, the Z/28 model is only offered with a six-speed manual transmission.
Interior
The overall effect is fashionable despite the use of a little too much hard plastic. Also, the outward visibility is hindered by thick roof pillars and a low roofline.
The touchscreen display interface has a clean layout and spontaneous menu structure. Also, it allows the control of smartphone radio apps such as Stitcher.
Unfortunately, it can prove frustrating to use, as reactions to touch inputs are sometimes slow or missed entirely.
Although the front seats are comfortable enough, its rear seat is the smallest among its competitors. The trunk is small at just 11.3 cubic feet.
The trunk opening is also small so it makes loading and unloading of large items a frustrating experience. The Convertible model possesses 10.2 cubic feet of trunk capacity.
2011 Chevrolet Camaro Review
The 2011 model Is a four-seat coupe or convertible. It is available in LS, 1LT and 2LT, 1SS and 2SS trim levels. The LS, 1LT, and 2LT are powered by the V6 engine while the remaining two are powered by the V8.
Either you select the timely V6 or tire-shredding V8, no one will ever accuse your vehicle of being slow. Also, it displays outstanding amounts of grip and a refined suspension. Its steering is also communicative.
These features make it more outstanding around corners than any model before it. On the highway and around town, it is quite civil and gives you a comfortable ride and reduced road noise.
Although muscle cars have traditionally had bland interiors, this vehicle impressively mixes retro touches with a modern dash design. However, this style comes with visible drawbacks.
Most of its surfaces consist of hard, cheap plastic. Also, the overstyled steering wheel looks like it is not designed for human hands.
Visibility is also a significant issue, as the windows make it difficult to park and place in corners.
In addition, the backseat does not fold down to expand the trunk space. The 11.3-cubic-foot trunk is of a reasonable size, but its opening is small which makes loading large items difficult.
