Daewoo in Nigeria

DAEWOO IN NIGERIA

Daewoo Motors was a South Korean car manufacturing company that was established in 1937. It liquidated most of its assets in 2001, becoming a subsidiary of General Motors and in 2011, the Daewoo name was ultimately removed and was renamed to GM Korea.

Daewoo is a fairly unknown name in the local car business. It came in the wake of Hyundai when Korean cars were known for their low cost but unfortunately, the company vanished amid the meltdown of the Korean economy.

Although the brand is no longer in existence, some of its products are still seen on the road. So if you are interested in purchasing this vehicle, you can head to cars45 as we sell different automobiles.

Let’s check out some of the options available for sale on cars45.

Tacuma 2004 Review

The Tacuma is generally strong and reliable, although perhaps not up to competitors like Corolla Mazda and other Japanese models.

Some downside of this vehicle might include body squeaks and rattles common, and the plastic interior components are susceptible to breaks and cracks. But given its relatively low cost, that should not be a major turn-off.

It is a fairly good-looking car with curves and full proportions. Even though its looks might not be aesthetically pleasing, it is not a bad-looking vehicle.

On the inside, it can conveniently hold five persons, but five could be squeezed in at a pinch.

There is adequate head and legroom in the front and rear seats, and as the driver, you would get a comfortable driving position. The controls are sensible, well laid out, and within reach.

The vehicle is well equipped for its class with standard cloth trim, a CD player, central locking, power windows, and fog lamps.

For safety, it comes standard with SRS airbags and seatbelts with pre-tensioners.

Pros

1. Relatively low purchase and maintenance cost
2. Good fuel economy
3. It is solid and reliable

Cons

1. Slow acceleration
2. It is not suitable for off-road

Matiz 2004 Review

The Matiz is a wonderful car that does everything a bigger car would. The Matiz is a nice town car, with a seating capacity for 5 persons in a tiny body and still enough space for a practical amount of shopping or luggage in the boot. Its compacted size (width as well as length) makes it easy to park and visibility is good.

The car moves smoothly with the maximum number of passengers and this does not affect the handling in any way. It is also very economical on fuel, meaning you won’t have to spend much on fueling.

Pros

1. Relatively low purchase and maintenance cost
2. Spectacular fuel economy
3. It is quite spacious

Cons

1. The plastic inside is quite rough
2. The interior design is not the best amongst its class
