The Infiniti QX70 called the Infiniti FX until 2013, is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV manufactured by Infiniti, owned by Nissan between 2002 and 2017. The FX took over from the QX4 as the brand’s mid-size SUV.

The FX50 trim includes all of the above and adds a more advanced climate control system with quilted leather seating, air filtration, and ventilated front seats.

The FX37 is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 that produces 325 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. The FX50 is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 that makes 390 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque.

The only transmission available is a seven-speed automatic with manual shift control. Rear-wheel drive is standard for the FX37 and an AWD system is optional. The FX50 is only offered with an all-wheel drive.

Some standard safety features for the FX37 and FX50 include traction control and stability control, antilock disc brakes, front-seat side airbags, and others. In terms of ride quality and handling, both the FX37 and FX50 deliver similar experiences.

Interior

With brushed metal accents, rich wood trim, cool ambient lighting, and soft-touch materials covering almost every surface, this is about as luxurious as you will find in the segment.

Its front seats are quite comfortable and are supported by enough head- and legroom. However, due to its sloping roofline, the rear seats can be a tight fit for taller passengers.

The sleek profile also compromises cargo space by offering 25 cubic ft of luggage space behind the rear seats. However, folding the seats gives you a total volume of just 62 cubes.
