BMW 328i in Nigeria

The BMW 3 Series is the company's smallest car range. Last summer, a pair of new coupes were introduced as 2000 models. The new coupe body shares a few body panels with the sedans, although sharing the same basis (chassis and motor) as the sedans.

The 328i Sedan and 328Ci Coupe are powered by a 2.8-liter inline-6 engine with 193 horsepower. The 5-speed manual is our favorite, but there's also a fantastic 5-speed automatic.

Almost every component in the 328i has been upgraded. The suspension components are lighter while also being more durable. New vibration dampening mechanisms, including hydraulic mounts for the differential and front suspension, are installed throughout the vehicle. More high-strength steel is used in the body shell, and it all helps to reduce noise and vibration in the 328i cabin. It comes with BMW's Park Distance Control, which uses an electronic beep to notify the driver of objects behind the car while parking.

Driving Impression of the BMW 328i

The 2.8-liter engine provides a genuine kick in the pants at the top of the rev range, but it's also surprisingly forceful at lower engine speeds. The 328i accelerates from a standstill to 60 mph in around 6.6 seconds, making it a very speedy sedan.

Changing gears with the 5-speed manual is a pleasurable experience. The shifter has longer throws than a sports vehicle, but it's still a precise movement worthy of a world-class sports sedan.

The BMW 3 Series automobiles provide the driver with a sense of connection to the road. You can hear and feel what's going on, but the outside world is muffled enough to keep you comfortable. BMW has mastered the art of balancing. Squeaks and rattles are less likely because of the robust chassis structure, which allows the suspension to absorb annoying road vibrations.

Pros of this series

  • Fuel efficiency: Nothing about the new BMW 328i surprised us more than the fuel economy figures displayed by its trip computer. The mid-20s and early 30s are typical for suburban driving.
  • Performance of the powertrain: Several modern vehicles can achieve an mpg of over 30. The new 328i is unique in that it combines exceptional fuel efficiency with a powerful performance in one vehicle, albeit not always at the same time.
  • Rear seat and comfort: Another unexpected quality of the 2017 BMW 3-Series is rear-seat spaciousness and comfort. There's more space in the rear than in rival vehicles, and the seat is shaped and positioned to be comfortable.
  • Cargo capacity: With the redesign, the trunk has enlarged significantly, to 17 cubic feet, easily the largest in the segment. One contentious enabler is the lack of a spare tire.
  • Handling: BMW's main competitive advantage has always been its handling. In Sport Line form, the new 3-Series continue to outperform the competition. The 328i feels more nimble than the 335i because it has less weight over the front wheels.

Cons of this series

  • Payments or price: When features are taken into account, 2012 is more expensive than 2011, which was already the most expensive car in the segment.
  • The issue here isn't BMW's vaunted iDrive system, but rather the controls and instruments. The joystick-like shifter on the automatic transmission, on the other hand, can be perplexing.

Do you want to get your own BMW 328i?

BMW attempted to build a car that could do everything well with the 2012 328i, and they came shockingly close to accomplishing this seemingly impossible goal. On Cars45, you can acquire this model and others from earlier generations for the best price. Now is the time to place your order!
