Honda Accord Crosstour in Nigeria
The Honda Crosstour initially known as the Accord Crosstour is a mid-size car produced by Honda, a Japanese automaker. Although sales began in November 2009, it was discontinued after the 2015 model year due to slow sales.
This model was a hatchback/wagon variation of the brand and shared the same platform. It is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine or the optional 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine and has a choice of either FWD or AWD.
In addition, it was a competitor to the Toyota Venza. Just like the Venza was meant to replace the Camry Wagon, this model replaced the brand's wagon.
Further, the brand removed the "accord" prefix for the 2012 model year, making the name just "Crosstour". It also gave its front grille a restyle.

2011 Honda Accord Crosstour Review
The 2011 model crossover wagon comes in EX and EX-L trim levels. Some of the standard features on the EX are a sunroof, keyless entry, automatic headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lights.
Others include power front seats, a multifunction tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control with second-row vents, and others.
The EX-L trim level adds leather upholstery, 18-inch wheels, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, driver-seat memory functions, and more amazing features.
It is offered in front-wheel-drive as standard with AWD available on the EX-L trim. Every trim is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that generates 271 hp and 254 pound-ft of torque. Also, the only transmission is a five-speed automatic.
Some safety features on all trims include stability and traction control, side curtain airbags, and antilock disc brakes with brake assist, and others.
Interior
The interior of this vehicle is somehow identical to the Accord sedan on which it is based. The quality of its materials is standard for the segment.
Additionally, the cabin is roomy enough to carry adult-size passengers, with adequate head and legroom in the front and rear seats.
Also, the seats are supportive and comfortable though some may find the lumbar support a bit aggressive.
Cargo capacity is quite small with just 25.7 cubic feet of storage space behind the rear seats and 51.3 cubes when folded.
2013 Honda Accord Crosstour Review
It offers a few extras over the related brand's sedan. It has about 10 more cubic feet of seats-up cargo capacity, and it is easily accessible all thanks to the hatchback design.
Also, there is the availability of all-wheel drive and handling that is more carlike than its rivals.
It also features several improvements, which include a more powerful V6 engine matched to a new six-speed automatic transmission.
Also, it offers a choice of two engines. The first is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that generates 192 hp and 162 pound-ft of torque. The other is a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 278 horsepower and 252 lb-feet of torque.
A five-speed automatic is standard on the four while a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters comes with the V6. Also, FWD is standard, with AWD available on the EX-L V6.
The vehicle offers a roomy cabin, with decent head- and legroom in the front and rear seats. The seats themselves are comfortable and supportive, though some may find the lumbar support too aggressive.
It is more versatile with the hatchback that allows you to load bulky items easily. However, it possesses just 25.7 cubic feet of storage space behind the rear seats and 51.3 cubes with them folded.
